Amaka Bukola Balogun
Volunteer mentor with Oakwood Mentoring Circle
- 🇳🇬 Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria
- Oakwood Mentoring Circle
- Since 1999
- English, Hausa
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 540 people through Oakwood Mentoring Circle.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I run most mornings.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Amaka: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
