Amaka Blessing Olawale
30 years teaching early years in Abuja
- 🇳🇬 Abuja, Abuja FCT, Nigeria
- Highland High School
- Since 1991
- English, Hausa
Highland High School is my second home. I teach early years there since 1991, mostly Year 9.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Amaka
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me early years in 2021 at Highland High School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
