Alyssa S. Myers
Physics and design and technology teacher, Savannah
- 🇺🇸 Savannah, Georgia, United States
- Savannah Public School
- Since 2008
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 18 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 770 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Alyssa
If you were in my first-year students class, you probably remember the long bus ride home.

What gifts mean to Alyssa: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me physics in 2018 at Savannah Public School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
