Alyssa G. Burke
Mentor in leadership and first-generation students
- 🇺🇸 Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States
- Frangipani Foundation
- 2005 to 2013
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 460 people through Frangipani Foundation.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
I'm still learning every day.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Alyssa: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
