For 13 years I ran the chess program at Kharkiv Cedar Grove Boxing Gym in Kharkiv. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Alyona: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
