Álvaro T. Duarte
Teacher at San Francisco Technical College, loves social studies

For eleven years I was the social studies teacher at San Francisco Technical College. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Álvaro
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
