Álvaro R. Herrera
English literature and early years teacher, Houston
- 🇺🇸 Houston, Texas, United States
- Oakwood Girls' School
- Since 2004
- English, Spanish
Oakwood Girls' School is my second home. I teach English literature there since 2004, mostly Year 9.
I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Álvaro
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
