I've spent 43 years as a lecturer in anthropology at Valencia Polytechnic in Valencia. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I write a short note to every student at the end of term. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Álvaro
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
