Álvaro Hernández

Painter, potter and teacher at Iztapalapa Studio

  • 🇲🇽 Iztapalapa, Ciudad de México, Mexico
  • Iztapalapa Studio
  • 2008 to 2021
  • Spanish
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes street art. My first show was in 2008 at Iztapalapa Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I make terrible puns. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Álvaro

I've had 5 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
