Álvaro Cortés
Helping people break into first-generation students
- 🇲🇽 Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico
- Parkside Foundation
- Since 1984
- English, Spanish
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,090 people through Parkside Foundation.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Álvaro
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
