Álvaro A. Ramos
First-generation students mentor, Jacksonville
- 🇺🇸 Jacksonville, Florida, United States
- Jacksonville Mentoring Circle
- 2017 to 2025
- English, Spanish
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 440 people through Jacksonville Mentoring Circle.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Álvaro: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
