I've coached rugby at Ankara Football Club since 1997. Most of my players were between 9 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I play music while people worked.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Alp
If you played for me, you probably remember the surprise birthday cake.
What gifts mean to Alp: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

I still think about the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Haifa.
