I teach design and technology at Jacaranda Middle School in Kadıköy since 1983. Most days I teach the youngest children, and I never turn anyone away.
Over the years I've had 1,250 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Alp: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
