I'm a mentor in teaching. I spent my career as a waiter and now give some of that back.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Alok
If I mentored you, I hope you're still pushing yourself.
What gifts mean to Alok: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
