Allison R. Gilbert
Oud player and teacher in Jacksonville
- 🇺🇸 Jacksonville, Florida, United States
- Since 1992
- English
I play oud and songwriting. I started in 1992 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 10 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I garden badly but happily.
More about Allison
I write my first song when I was 17. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Allison: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
