Allison May
Watercolor artist in Oakland
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Oakland Gallery
- Since 1982
- English, Spanish
I work mostly in watercolor, sometimes glass art. My first show was in 1982 at Oakland Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I take the work seriously, though not myself. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Allison
I've had 11 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Allison: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
