Retired materials science lecturer

My subject is materials science, and for nine years I got to share it with undergraduates at Glasgow Polytechnic.
I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Allison
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Allison: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
