Allison E. Holmes

Sitar player and teacher in Manchester

  • 🇬🇧 Manchester, England, United Kingdom
  • Meadowbank Ensemble
  • 1981 to 2001
  • English
I've played sitar from 1981 to 2001, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach. I teach about 14 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I bake for the whole street at New Year. I'm still learning every day.
