I teach biology and art at Houston High School, Houston. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Allison
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Allison: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
