Allison D. Lucas
Mentor in farming and teaching
- 🇺🇸 Birmingham, Alabama, United States
- Birmingham Learning Hub
- 1993 to 2004
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 420 people through Birmingham Learning Hub.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I make terrible puns.
More about Allison
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Allison: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
