Alka P. Kashyap
33 years teaching environmental science in Prayagraj
- 🇮🇳 Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India
- Prayagraj Girls' School
- 1981 to 1999
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 18 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Alka
If you were in my first-year students class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

What gifts mean to Alka: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me environmental science in 1984 at Prayagraj Girls' School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.

I was in your first-year students class in 1993. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Gaya.
