For 42 years I have been the mathematics teacher at Ashford Primary School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Alka
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me mathematics in 2013 at Ashford Primary School. I still remember the time the class pet escaped.

You taught me mathematics in 1984 at Ashford Primary School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard
