Alina Maria Sidorenko
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇷🇺 Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia
- 2005 to 2020
- English, Russian
My trade is thatching. I opened my own shop in 2005 in Yekaterinburg and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 20 years later for another job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Alina: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
