Alice L. Estrada
Teacher at Los Angeles Middle School, loves home economics

For 19 years I have been the home economics teacher at Los Angeles Middle School. I teach the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Alice
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Alice: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
