- 🇵🇰 Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan
- Gujranwala Quartet
- 1986 to 1995

I've played folk music from 1986 to 1995, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ali
I wrote my first song when I was 16. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Ali: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
