For 48 years I have been the mathematics teacher at Shubra Academy. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,870 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Ali
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
