Blacksmithing, done properly
- 🇹🇷 Kadıköy, Istanbul, Türkiye

- English, French
I've worked in blacksmithing since 2006. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 380 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ali
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Ali: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
