I teach statistics at Istanbul Grammar School in Istanbul since 2007. Most days I teach Year 7, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I've coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Ali: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
