I teach English literature and French at Starlight Boys' School, Istanbul. I answer every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I've had 2,200 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Ali: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me English literature in 2001 at Starlight Boys' School. I still remember the last day before the summer holidays.

You taught me English literature in 2017 at Starlight Boys' School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Truly.
