I teach music at Lotus High School in Saint Petersburg since 1981. Most days I teach Year 10, and I answer every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I've had 1,620 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Alexei
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Alexei: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
