I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes sculpture. My first show was in 1989 at Ottawa Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by the river near my house. I'm always reading two books at once.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Alexandre: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
