I taught history at San Diego Grammar School in San Diego from 2004 to 2018. Most days I taught first-year students, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Alexandra
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
