Alexa Woods

14 years teaching astronomy at Silverlake Institute of Technology

  • 🇺🇸 Riverside, California, United States
  • Silverlake Institute of Technology
  • 2014 to 2023
  • English
My subject is astronomy, and for nine years I got to share it with undergraduates at Silverlake Institute of Technology. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.

More about Alexa

Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
