Alexa T. Crawford
Volunteer mentor with Starlight Community Trust
- 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States
- Starlight Community Trust
- Since 1995
- English, French
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,400 people through Starlight Community Trust.
I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Alexa
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Alexa: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
