I've coached chess at Messina Boxing Gym since 2017. Most of my players were between 11 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Alessandro
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
