Alejandro Vargas
Youth volleyball coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 Sacramento, California, United States
- Atlas Boxing Gym
- 1998 to 2010
- English, Spanish
I coached volleyball at Atlas Boxing Gym from 1998 to 2010. Most of my players were between 8 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
More about Alejandro
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Alejandro: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
