Alejandro T. Santos
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇪🇸 Madrid, Madrid, Spain
- Madrid Workshop
- Since 1998
- Spanish
I've worked in blacksmithing since 1998. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 1,400 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.

What gifts mean to Alejandro: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
