Helping people break into first-generation students
- 🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States
- Fairview Mentoring Circle
- 1988 to 2020
- English, Spanish
For 32 years I've mentored people in first-generation students and trades. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
More about Alejandro
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Alejandro: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
