I taught physics at Kilimanjaro Academy in Bogotá from 1997 to 2014. Most days I taught Year 7, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
More about Alejandro
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Alejandro: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
