Alejandro C. Vega

15 years teaching linguistics at Bakersfield University

  • 🇺🇸 Bakersfield, California, United States
  • Bakersfield University
  • Since 2006
  • English, Spanish
I've spent 20 years as a lecturer in linguistics at Bakersfield University in Bakersfield. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more. Former students now work as a farmhand and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job. I'm still learning every day.

More about Alejandro

I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
