I coached swimming at Alcalá de Henares Sports Club from 2002 to 2025. Most of my players were between 8 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I fix old bicycles.
More about Alejandra
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Alejandra: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
