I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 47 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Alejandra
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Alejandra: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
