I've been a nurse for 21 years, most of them in intensive care at Oaxaca de Juárez Maternity Hospital in Oaxaca de Juárez. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
