I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and eight years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I answered every email, even at midnight.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Alejandra: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me environmental science in 2011 at Houston Secondary School. I still remember the long bus ride home.
