For 17 years I was the biology teacher at Barranquilla Girls' School. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 530 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Alejandra: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
