Aleena Zara Orakzai
Woodcarving and illustration artist
- 🇵🇰 Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan
- 1980 to 1998
- English
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes illustration. My first show was in 1980 at Karachi Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by faces I pass in the street. I walk the dog by the river.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

What gifts mean to Aleena: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
