Alamin Rahim Akter
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇧🇩 Narayanganj, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Old Narayanganj Trades Guild
- Since 1978
- English, Bengali
I'm a tiling specialist. If you live around Narayanganj, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
More about Alamin
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Alamin: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
