Alamin Jahan
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇧🇩 Rajshahi, Rajshahi, Bangladesh
- Old Heritage Workshop
- Since 1983
- English, Bengali
I've worked in pottery since 1983. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 1,550 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I run most mornings.

Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Alamin: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
