Baking, done properly
- 🇺🇬 Jinja, Eastern Region, Uganda
- The Jinja Repairs
- Since 1982
- English, Swahili
I've worked in baking since 1982. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 1,760 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
More about Akoth
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
