Akoth Namukasa Kariuki
Runs the disaster relief in Embakasi
- 🇰🇪 Embakasi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Lotus Food Bank
- Since 2001
- English, Swahili
I've volunteered with Lotus Food Bank since 2001. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
Our crew is about 8 people now. Everyone brings something.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Akoth
We run on goodwill and a very old kettle.
What gifts mean to Akoth: Any gift will help us cover the hall hire this winter.
